There's a commonly used chinese phrase -- "做贼喊抓贼". Translated into english, it means the thief calling out to others to catch the thief (obviously someone else and not the thief himself).

And another one goes, "若要人不知, 除非己莫为". Translated into english means, if you do not wish others to know, do not do it. For eyes and ears are all around, your doings will not go unnoticed. Even if you attempt to cover up by spinning tall tales, "纸是包不住火的". It means, paper will not be able to keep fire under wraps.

Do not malign others of doing wrong to you when you were the one who guilty of it first.

I wonder how unscrupulous can one get to bring in business for himself. Making use of ppl emotionally? Calling them bfs/dates just to bring in the policies and thereafter dumping them? Sounds like the most underhand method to hit your quota. One word - despicable. And who are you to say anything about me advising my bf then to consider seriously before taking up a policy from you? You claim to be professional and yet not accomodating to giving your clients the views others had to offer? Professionalism my foot. And I had every right to advise my bf then to make sure that he is certain of his decisions. Mind you, he fucks me and not you.

And as a close buddy of someone else, to be biased and discouraging of his relationship is the last thing that a close buddy should do. Your friend chose to be in a relationship with me and you hardly know anything about me and our relationship. What gives you the right to be biased and against our relationship when it is between us and us alone? No matter how close you are to him, you do not sleep with him, I do. We are the ones preparing to share a life together, not the 3 of us. You were not in the picture to begin with and never will be. So why poison this relationship that you had no say in? Even when I learnt how how much you dislike me, I still did not choose to dissuade your bf to give up the idea of being together when problems came in for the both of you. I even spoke up for you? Gosh, the silliest thing I've done in the past 1 month.

We both put in our heart and soul into the relationship to try and make it work. I've told you before that for you, my pride has already been laid down. I didnt expect you to still be so mindful of your pride even now that we've broken up. Just as well, if that helps you to move on, be my guest.

It's the last working day of 2005. Most of the ppl wun be in the mood to do serious work, including myself. But I'm flooded with work (and yet, i'm still updating my journal????!?! ::roll eyes at myself::). And it doesnt help that I'm the only engineer left in the dept today. Everyone else is either out or on leave. Hope no last min things..

Nevertheless, I'm in a gd mood today. Must be all the recent festivities.

Dinner tonite. Yay! I'm suddenly addicted to salmon, very much addicted.

Somehow, it seems to be quite a while since I last felt such a strong sense of guilt.

I guess it was all a misunderstanding. But no one can change the fact that the harm was already done. Irreversible.

Chin-up: 8. Stupid PTI no count my 2nd one, say I didnt straighten hands.
Shuttle run: 9.9sec. I suspect timer slow reaction. I couldnt have ran that fast.
Standing broad jump: 225cm. My weakest event.
Sit-ups: 41. Who doesnt get above 40 when the assistant's counts jumps from 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10... 30, 32, 33, 37... etc.
2.4km run: 11mins 15 secs. I need to go lower!

I think I got Silver, provided the above results are correctly recorded down in the score sheet.
Phew, $200 to cover for all the X'mas spendings...
